  2. Ranking check

Ask for a ranking check on your hearing clinic.

Send one email with your clinic's name and town. The check is free. Usually within two business days you get a written report, built from public information only, that plots where your clinic shows on Google for eight searches the way you plot a hearing test, and says what we would fix first. There is nothing to install, nothing to log into, and no obligation.

What to send

Two lines is enough: your clinic's name as it appears on Google, and the town or towns you serve. If you want the check aimed at particular services, say so (hearing aids, repairs, tinnitus, earwax, pediatrics). If you have a website, include the address; if you do not, say that too, because the report is different for a clinic without one.

Or use the form

Free. We reply by email, usually within two business days. Please don't include patient information.

What comes back

A document of about four pages, as a PDF, usually within two business days. It plots eight searches run from your area on a phone and a desktop the way you plot a hearing test; a table of who holds the spots above you, described by kind (a manufacturer-owned location, an ENT group, a hospital, a review site) rather than named; an audit of your Google Business Profile against Google's own rules, item by item; the findings on your website, including any tracking we found on appointment or condition pages; a five-year view of your search visibility from third-party estimates; and the three things we would fix first, in order, whether or not you hire us. It ends with the monthly fee for the plan it recommends, in writing. The sample report is the whole thing, worked for a fictional clinic.

Example audiogram of eight searches for a fictional clinic Example only. Eight searches run left to right from the clinic's own name to the searches new patients make. Red O marks show where the clinic appeared in the map results and blue X marks where its website appeared under the map. Marks near the top mean first or second; marks below the dashed line at 25 mean outside the top three. This fictional clinic is first for its own name and falls out of the top three for hearing aids, repairs and tinnitus searches. What happens after

If you want help, reply and we send a written plan for the first 90 days. If you want a 20-minute call to walk through it, say so and we book one; we do not call otherwise. If you do nothing, that is the end of it. The report is yours to use with anyone, including another agency. We keep your email to reply to it. If the answer is no, reply "no" and we won't write again.

Why it is free

Because the check is how we decide whether we can help, and it takes about two hours. If your profile is already in good shape and two pages would cover what is missing, the report says so.
